The Post-doctoral Research Associate will work on a Faculty Research Grant (FRG) project with a team from the American University of Sharjah (UAE), the University of Southampton (UK), the University of Strathclyde (UK), and Teesside University (UK). The research project aims to explore risk management in oil and gas construction projects in the UAE using quantitative models. The work involves empirical research and analytical modeling.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and validate an integrated risk management decision support system for oil and gas construction projects in the UAE.
- Write journal papers.
- Provide guidance and monitor graduate students.
Qualifications And Skills Required
- PhD degree in Project Management, Decision Sciences or related fields.
- Publications in high-quality journals related to project and operations management.
- Empirical research and quantitative modeling skills, such as Bayesian Belief Networks, System Dynamics, Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis, Structural Equation Modeling and others.

- PhD degree in Project Risk Management.
- Publications in high-quality journals in the field of risk science.
