The Department Of Mechanical Engineering- College Of Engineering At American University Of Sharjah (AUS) Is Seeking To Appoint a Highly Motivated And Enthusiastic Researcher To Fill The Position Of Postdoctoral Research Assistant. The Successful Candidate Needs To Have Obtained a Phd. In Mechanical Engineering Or Any Closely Related Field. The Candidate Is Expected To Conduct Research In The Following Areas
- Advanced material processing
- Mechanical testing and material characterization
- Sustainable manufacturing
- Material modeling.
Responsibilities And Duties Required
- Conduct literature review.
- Run experiments.
- Data management.
- Analyze results.
- Prepare progress reports on regular basis.
- Help in mentoring graduate students.
- Assist in preparing journal and conference articles.
- Other duties may be assigned according to the progress of research.
Qualifications And Skills Required
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills are mandatory.
- A strong foundation in conducting research related to these fields is essential.
