POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Pre-Sales Engineer to join our team. The Pre-Sales Consultant will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by supporting the sales team in identifying client needs, crafting solutions, and delivering compelling presentations to potential clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT consulting, programming, databases, systems integration, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of successfully influencing client decisions. This role requires a self-starter who will be responsible to support the sales team and help to make sales for the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client Engagement:
- Engage with prospective clients to understand their business challenges, goals, and IT requirements.
- Conduct discovery meetings and requirements gathering sessions to identify client needs and pain points.
Solution Development:
- Collaborate with the sales team and technical experts to develop innovative and tailored solutions that address client requirements.
- Customize presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to display the value proposition of our IT consulting services.
- Leverage industry knowledge and best practices to position our offerings as strategic solutions that drive business outcomes.
Technical Expertise:
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to clients regarding our consulting services, methodologies, and implementation approaches.
- Translate technical concepts into business-friendly language to effectively communicate with non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, enterprise software solutions, and IT service management frameworks.
- Proven ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences and communicate value propositions effectively.
Sales Support:
- Support the sales team in the qualification of leads, opportunity assessment, and pipeline management.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals, quotations, and statements of work (SOWs) to meet client requirements and expectations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between client needs and proposed solutions.
Continuous Improvements:
- Gather feedback from client interactions and sales engagements to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Contribute to the development of sales enablement resources, such as case studies, white papers, and product collateral.
- Actively participate in training programs and knowledge sharing sessions to enhance skills and expertise.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients.
Proposal Development:
- Help sales team in developing sales material and support in proposal writing.
Daily Reporting:
- Show up to the office every day and provide daily reports on daily pre-sales activities, progress, and plans.
Target Planning:
- Develop and maintain a clear plan outlining potential clients and target industries, with a focus on the financial and telecom sectors.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the technical and sales teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
Responsibility:
- Take full ownership of the pre-sales process and help sales team during initial discussion, problem assessment and contract signing.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect) are desirable.
- Relevant certifications are a plus like TOGAF etc.
- Minimum 05 years of experience in pre-sales, specifically in IT services related to data management systems, IT Consulting, data compliance consulting, System deployment and Integration.
- Deep understanding of the financial and telecom sectors, with a proven ability to navigate and sell within these industries.
Language:
- Fluency in Arabic is essential; proficiency in English also required.
Mobility:
- Ability to travel within Riyadh and surrounding areas as required.
