Department Overview
The Bid & Quote Analyst will work closely with the Motorola Australia Sales Account teams, Professional Services, General Managers and Finance.
Job Description
Preparation of Bid P & Ls for proposals, tenders and contracts
Maintain product cost databases
Update and maintain Price lists and ensure they are accurate and issued on a timely basis
Ensure compliance with approval and authorization policies.
Participate in and lead the bid scrubs process and documenting all approvals
Ensure that pricing and gross margin information is kept confidential and distributed only in accordance with policy
Comply with Motorola Quality policies and practices.
Basic Requirements
GENERAL EDUCATION:
Must have: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Business related degree
Desirable: Member of a recognized professional accounting body
EXPERIENCE:
Analyst or accounting/finance experience, multinational experience in a corporate accounting environment (3 years +)
Highly computer literate - particularly spreadsheets.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
Good communications skills both written and verbal to explain complex information to all levels of staff and Customers
Sound planning capability and personal organisation skills
Capable of working through commercial issues and recommend course of action
Well developed interpersonal, teamwork and conflict resolution skills
Self motivated
