Key Responsibilities:
Proposal Development and Technical Writing:
- Develop and deliver high-quality technical proposals that clearly articulate METI's solutions, aligning with customer requirements.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and impactful documents for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensure all proposals meet client expectations, industry standards, and METI's quality benchmarks.
Technical Consultation and Pre-Sales Support:
- Collaborate with METI's sales, engineering, and R&D teams to understand customer needs and present appropriate solutions.
- Act as a technical advisor during client engagements, providing expert insights and addressing technical queries.
- Create and deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and prototypes to showcase METI's capabilities.
Research and Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth research on market trends, customer requirements, and competitors to craft well-informed proposals.
- Analyze client-specific challenges to design innovative and feasible technical solutions.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in 3D modeling, software, mechatronics, and related technologies to maintain METI's competitive edge.
Customer Engagement:
- Engage directly with clients to understand their technical and business needs.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring METI is positioned as a trusted partner.
- Provide timely and comprehensive responses to client inquiries14.
Internal Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing:
- Work closely with METI's internal teams to ensure proposed solutions are aligned with the company's technical capabilities and strategic goals.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of proposal templates, tools, and processes.
- Mentor junior team members on proposal-building and technical writing best practices.
Working Hours and Availability:
- The working hours for this position will follow North America Mountain Standard Time (MST) to align with METI's core team and client operations.
- The candidate will be located in Cairo, Egypt and must also be accessible during Middle East business hours to coordinate with regional clients and team members effectively.
Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in one of the following fields: 3D Modeling, Software Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering.
Experience:
- 3+ years in a presales, solution engineering, or technical writing role.
- Hands-on expertise in at least one of the following: 3D modeling software, software development, or mechatronics systems.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in relevant tools or software within your domain of expertise (e.g., CAD tools for 3D modeling, programming languages for software, or systems integration for mechatronics).
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, modeling, or hardware integration processes.
Communication Skills:
- Exceptional technical writing and editing skills in English.
- Ability to create clear, concise, and visually compelling proposals and presentations.
Analytical Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities and an eye for detail.
- Ability to synthesize data and insights into actionable strategies.
Research Aptitude:
- Skilled in conducting market and technical research to support data-driven proposals.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.
- Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with METI's core industries, including oil & gas, automation, and advanced engineering solutions.
- Experience with CRM tools and proposal management software.
