Preschool French Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool French Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching French to preschool-aged children, developing engaging lesson plans, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development: Design and implement an age-appropriate French language curriculum that aligns with the school's educational standards and objectives.

Instruction: Teach French language skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing, to preschool students using interactive and immersive methods.

Lesson Planning: Prepare and deliver lesson plans incorporating songs, games, stories, and other activities to engage young learners and make learning fun.

Classroom Management: Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages active participation and supports each child's growth and development.

Assessment: Monitor and assess students progress, provide regular feedback, and adjust teaching strategies as needed to meet the diverse needs of students.

Parent Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior, and concerns.

Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.

Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education and language teaching.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, French Language, or a related field. Certification in teaching French as a foreign language is a plus.

Experience: Previous experience teaching French to young children, preferably in a preschool or early childhood education setting.

Language Proficiency: Native or near-native proficiency in French and fluency in English.

Skills: Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills. Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans tailored to young learners.
