Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding freight rates and services.
Provide detailed and accurate pricing information to customers through various communication channels (email, phone, in-person).- Prepare and deliver comprehensive freight quotes based on customer requirements.
Ensure that quotes are competitive while maintaining company profitability.
- Follow up with customers to clarify requirements and address any questions or concerns about the quotes.
Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor pricing.- Collaborate with the pricing team to develop competitive pricing strategies.
Analyze cost components, including transportation, handling, and customs, to ensure accurate pricing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business.
Address and resolve customer complaints and issues related to pricing and service.- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and provide appropriate pricing solutions.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure that pricing reflects accurate logistical capabilities.
Maintain accurate records of all pricing inquiries, quotes, and customer interactions.- Prepare regular reports on pricing activity, customer feedback, and market trends.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and industry regulations.
