Job Overview:
Will contribute to the success of MPC by leading multi-Functional teams to achieve the vision of MPC and the division. Will strive to secure the long-term business and strategic goals. Lead MPC top line, profits and market share growth through Leading successful implementation of MPC-Principals business strategies and Expanding MPC business with new portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Principal Affairs Strategy & Performance Reporting
- Participate and assist the Principal Director in the formulation of annual Principal affairs unit overall strategy including the demand planning, marketing plans, pipeline introduction, regulatory affairs plans, demand creation plans as well as the units overall service offerings.
- Be the Owner of MPC-Principals Objectives and key MPC contact point internally and externally.
- Align with Principal on MPC-Principals Objectives and communicate MPC-Principals Objectives to all MPC functions
- Design MPC-Principal Drum beats and regular connect including S&OP meetings, Business reviews, New launches, Contract review ,.etc.
- Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates Principal needs on an ongoing basis and Provide Market feedback.
- Regular MPC-Principals Objectives performance reporting on principals Dashboard including Sales, Distribution, market shares , Receivables , Inventory levels ,etc
Execute MPC -Principal Strategy
- Own Demand planning & new launches introduction & accurately forecasting future sales and forming sales plans to adapt to constant shifts in the marketplace
- Prepares optimized annual and monthly rolling forecast through annual, monthly S&OP meetings in conjunction with partner Principal as well as the customers key account managers.
- Negotiates, participates, monitors, and oversees the execution of marketing / Business plans, in conjunction with partner Principal. Accordingly communicate and coordinate the same to the customers key account managers.
- Plan and execute annual promotion, FOC, Rebate, Patient programs spend in line with annual Trade spend budgets.
- Liaise, communicates and assigns key responsibilities to the customers key account managers and distribution team to ensure that all promotional, merchandizing activities and sales delivery targets are achieved as planned with the principals. Monitors the results through regular reporting and review meetings.
- leading Logistics & Supply chain S&OP meetings to ensure optimum product supply & inventory and Manage Principal inventory levels, divisional stock policy in order to fulfill the market requirements and achieve revenue objectives.
- Own Business development and attaining new expansion opportunities & portfolio beyond Organic portfolio and lead regulatory team to accelerate Go to Market & Commercialization
- Leading maintenance and expansion of the contractual relationship with principals in liaise with Legal team
- Leading AR & Payables targets of the principals in liaise with Finance team
Lead & Influencing Multi-Functional Team
- Establish & Lead Multi-Functional project teams (MFT) from different functions to address & deliver MPC-Principal objectives & performance (Sales , Marketing , Supply Chain , Regulatory Affairs , Logistics , Finance , Legal etc)
- With Project MFT, Establish Objectives, Assignments, schedules, Communicate, Monitor and track performance.
- Train & Provide MFT team members with feedback and seek motivating & rewarding project team to drive performance.
- Responsible for consistent improvement in quality and adherence to quality policies as measured by our quality system.
- Clearly communicates and drives MPC mission vision and values through the organization.
- Delegates work assignment and gives authority to work independently ensuring effective utilization of the resources.
- Sets expectations and monitors delegated activities.
- Provides vision and inspiration to peers and colleagues to achieve goals.
- Adherence to the company policies and procedures within the area of responsibility
Qualification & Education:
- Bachelors degree in Healthcare ,marketing or Management preferably with an MBA.
- Minimum 10 years Sales experience in Pharma , Healthcare Or FMCG industry in UAE.
- Minimum 3 years of Business management experience, including positions such as Distributor Manager, Principal Affair Manager, Channel /Brand Manager Or Country Manager
- Sound Business Financial and Numerical expertise
- Excellent Presentation & Negotiation skills.
- Leadership skills to motivate and drive the team.
- Experience in Pharmacy & Modern Trade In-Store Execution and E-Commerce is a plus.
- UAE driving license is a must.
- Strong communication skills. English Language is Must, Arabic is plus
