We are looking to expand our successful Intelligent Mobility/Intelligent Transport Systems team in the Middle East with the appointment of a Principal/Associate level Intelligent Mobility/Intelligent Transport Systems Consultant to join WSPs team in Dubai.
This role involves leading strategic development and project delivery for various Intelligent Mobility solutions across the Middle East, engaging with Tier 1 clients, and ensuring the highest standards of project delivery. Please note that this is not a role for the design management of traditional highway ITS design works.
Your new role, what's involved
Responsible for overall project delivery and client engagement.
Provide strategic leadership in the development of Intelligent Mobility solutions for various projects across the Middle East.
Lead and manage Intelligent Mobility/ITS consultancy projects from inception to completion.
Take full ownership of projects, ensuring successful delivery with minimal supervision.
Engage with clients, understand their needs, and present comprehensive project proposals.
Deliver projects independently, ensuring adherence to budget, program, and technical standards.
Lead the bidding process, including the preparation of technical mobility scopes and fee estimation.
Demonstrate autonomy and initiative in identifying project opportunities and driving them to completion.
Possess a deep knowledge and understanding of the latest Intelligent Mobility trends and technologies, including Connected & Autonomous Vehicles (CAV), Urban Air Mobility, Command and Control Centres, Mobility as a Service, V2X Communication, Electric Vehicles, and Micromobility.
Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex project challenges.
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of transportation systems, technologies, and innovative mobility solutions.
Liaise and collaborate with the wider project delivery team, including transportation & infrastructure, Sustainability, Digital Advisory, and Master Planning specialists.
Manage and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
At least 8-10 years of prior Intelligent Mobility/Intelligent Transport Systems consultancy/advisory experience.
Proven and demonstrable experience in leading Intelligent Mobility/ITS consultancy projects.
Experience with ITS systems, Command & Control Centres, and providing advisory services for Tier 1 clients in the GCC.
Proven ability to engage with clients, understand their needs, and present comprehensive project proposals.
Strong leadership and project management skills, with a track record of successful project delivery independently.
In-depth knowledge of the latest Intelligent Mobility trends, transportation systems, and technologies.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage stakeholders effectively and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members.
A proactive approach to identifying project opportunities and driving them to completion with minimal supervision.linkedin
