Responsibilities:-
- Perform/check various power system analysis study load flow, short circuit, motor starting, transient stability, harmonic analysis, arc flash, protection coordination, etc.
- Experience in preparation of Material Requisition, Scope of Works, review of offers, technical clarifications, technical bid evaluation, etc.
- Participation in site survey and data collection for Electrical design.
- Participation in Design reviews, E-HAZOP, Energy Optimization review, Value engineering, constructability other workshops.
- Good understanding of HSE requirements of both self and within the discipline team.
- Ensuring technical integrity of the Electrical deliverables for the project. In particular ensure compliance with the work scope and with applicable international standards.
- Work on proposals and prepare MH estimation.
Qualification:-
Accreditation, Training: Graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering, Chartered Engineer is preferred.
Experience:-
- Relevant experience in execution of Concept, FEED and Detail Engineering for offshore, onshore & downstream Oil and Gas projects.
- Perform engineering design for power generation, transmission and distribution networks (132kV and below voltage levels), subsea cables, OH lines, Substation automation system, LV and MV Variable Speed Drives, Electrical asset monitoring system etc.
- Preparation/review of all Engineering deliverables such as specifications, datasheets, Load Lists, Sizing calculations, Single Line Diagrams, Adequacy check reports, Schedules & MTO.
- Substation layouts & Field layouts for offshore & onshore projects
- Guiding 3D modeler for 3D modelling activity.Technical Bid Evaluation for 132kV, 33kV GIS, AIS, Power Transformers, MV variable Speed drive etc.
- Good knowledge of ADNOC standards, SHELL DEPs, International standards such as IEEE, ANSI, IESNA, NFPA, IEC Standards.
- Good knowledge of Hazardous Area classification, Electrical Safety in design, Sustainable design engineering, E-HAZOP, HAZID, HAZOP.
- Computer skills with MS office and Electrical engineering / sizing software such as SPEL, ETAP, EDSA, SKM, CYME, EMTP, Battery sizing, Lighting calculation softwares, etc.
- Good communication skill, Leadership skill and able to guide team working locally as well as for workshare with centre of excellence and integrated delivery, mentoring junior Engineers.
- Good command on English language verbal as well as writing skills, report writing, presentation to client.
