Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Process Design Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in process design within the oil and gas industry and be available for immediate joining.
Responsibilities:
- Process Design and Development:
- Develop and optimize process designs for oil and gas projects, including creating process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and process simulations.
- Ensure designs meet project specifications, client requirements, and industry standards.
- Technical Documentation:
- Prepare detailed technical documents, including design specifications, equipment data sheets, and process design reports.
- Review and update documentation throughout the project lifecycle to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Project Coordination:
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including project managers, engineers, and contractors, to ensure seamless integration of process designs into overall project plans.
- Provide technical support during the construction, commissioning, and start-up phases of projects.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all process designs comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
- Conduct process safety assessments and participate in HAZOP studies to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Vendor and Client Interaction:
- Interface with equipment vendors to specify and procure necessary process equipment.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide technical solutions that align with project goals.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 8+ years of experience as a Process Design Engineer in the oil and gas industry.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of process design principles, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in the oil and gas sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II) and design tools.
- Immediate Availability: Preference will be given to candidates who can join immediately or within a short notice period.
- Communication: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
