Wood is presently looking to hire a
Process Designer for our Engineering team in
Abu Dhabi. Below are more details about the position.
Responsibilities
Below are some key responsibilities and duties:
- Preparation of all types of Process design drawings and deliverables such as Block Flow Diagrams, PFDs, P&IDs, line list, valve list etc. based on client standards/practices
- Produce process drawings as per Client standards using of AutoCAD, Microstation, Smartplant P&ID, Aveva P&ID etc
- Carry out assigned process design work as part of a multi-discipline project team
- Develop process drawings based on inputs provided by lead designers and engineers
- To provide discipline specific design and drafting services that meet the Project's, and applicable statutory and regulatory, requirements
- To provide technical support to the site team during design, engineering and construction
- To assist in the coordination of all activities related to the discipline
- Strong commitment to safety
Qualifications
- Diploma in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in an engineering organization as process designer
- Proficient with computer-aided design and drafting (AutoCAD, MicroStation, AVEVA P&ID, Smartplant P&ID) softwares.
- Previous Onshore Oil and Gas related process design experience
- Experience of working with multi-national and multi-cultural project teams is strongly preferred
