Job Purpose:
Perform the role of technical expert of olefins and ethylene glycol process through providing technical support and assurance to the existing running plants along with providing long term strategic expertise to meet company's short and long terms objectives in EHSS, production, reliability and integrity, energy and sustainability, people and organization and cost effectiveness.

Qualification:
Bachelor Degree in Chemical/Process Engineering.
Experience:
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in the Olefins and Ethylene Glycol plant processes.
Skills:
- Expert in the relevant process and operation, along with deep knowledge on varies technologies.
- To keep abreast of the latest technological developments in the field of process technologies, environment, energy and feedstock to take advantage of the same.
- Deeply Understands process areas and interconnection with other plants.
- Able to communicate with site leaders, engineers and shift personnel across the site.
- Expert in process simulation and modeling.
- Proficient in process design along with equipment design and sizing.
- Proficient in process hazard analysis, risk management an control.
Job Accountability:
- To support in maintaining the plant performance at highest safety, productivity, quality and efficiency level.
- To support the operational transition mode in the case of start-up, shutdown, and emergency situation, as operation expertise.
- To continuously monitor of high level plant performance parameters and key equipment performance. Develop needed tools and techniques / procedures for equipment / process assessment and analysis part of which safe operating window.
- To develop in-depth technical expertise that will serve as process knowledge base of the company
- To reinforce and comply with management system procedures in all operational and technical aspects of the plant.
- To resolve of long term & chronic issues of the plant affecting plant EHSS, production, reliability and integrity, energy and sustainability, people and organization and cost effectiveness.
- To support develop conceptual design packages and Process design packages (CDP/ PDP) for minor projects.
- To Participate in preparation of ITB and reviewing process design packages for major projects.
- To develop capital budget proposals with justification to facilitate necessary budget approval.
- To lead the activities related to sustainability, energy and carbon neutrality initiatives.
- To generate ideas and develop schemes for quality improvement, energy reduction, waste reduction and GHG reduction.
- To carry out routine review of important operational parameters and sufficiently challenge process deviation that would impact the plant productivity, safety, reliability and integrity
- To liaison with QA and Operations to address customer complain/requirement related to product quality.
- To carryout process simulation to address complex plant issues like hydraulic limitation, distillation column limitation etc.
- To Share knowledge and Best practices among the different plants.
- To ensure implementation and compliance to standards and other statutory regulations.
- To lead/participate in PHA / PHA revalidation studies and address process related recommendations from these studies.
- To lead/participate in implementation/up keeping of Advance Process Control (APC) applications of all process units.
- To participate in carrying out reliability and integrity studies.
- To lead/participate in multi-disciplinary accident/incident investigation
