Globe 24-7 in partnership with a key client is working together to source an experienced and qualified Process Plant Manager for their team in Saudi Arabia.
The Responsibilities
- Ensures the highest level of safety, health and environmental work standards.
- Responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping.
- Ensures that KPI Operational Indicators such as Process Plant Throughput, Metals Produced and Recovery are met in accordance budget.
- Allocates resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.
- Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide clear direction, focus and accountability for the processing function.
- Develops systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics, and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets.
- Monitor and manage employee performance and behaviors in line with company policy and the needs of the processing department.
- Develop and manage the delivery of the annual plan for the process plant function.
The requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mineral Processing, Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in Base Metals Flotation and Gold Processing, with 3+ years at a Managerial level.
- An advanced knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources).
- Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise.
- Exemplary knowledge of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory, and stewardship processes.
- Excellent English communication skills (both oral and written).
