Key Responsibilities:
Supplier Management:
Identify and evaluate suppliers for food and beverage products.
Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and develop new partnerships.
Procurement Process:
Coordinate and process purchase orders in a timely manner.
Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to prevent shortages or excesses.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in procurement activities.
Quality Control:
Conduct quality assessments of products received from suppliers.
Address any issues related to product quality or delivery with suppliers.
Data Management:
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
Analyze procurement data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings.
Collaboration:
Work closely with kitchen staff and management to understand product needs and specifications.
Collaborate with the finance department to ensure timely invoice processing and budget adherence.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
2+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the F&B industry.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
