What we need:

As a Procurement Engineer, you will be responsible for evaluating suppliers, products, and services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that approved purchases are cost-efficient with the required quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases
  • Evaluate materials suppliers and negotiate purchasing agreements for materials
  • Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers
  • Devise, implement and oversee procurement strategies to meet cost savings targets
  • Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
  • Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options
  • Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies
  • Analyze drawings and subtract important details needed in the purchasing process
  • Maintain and update a list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the department as well as cross-functional teams, including logistics and engineering, to achieve organizational goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or Supply Chain.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in procurement, preferably in a manufacturing facility. However, we also welcome Fresh graduates with a degree in engineering who have completed a co-op or internship in supply chain.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong follow-up and tracking procedures

  • Able to analyze technical documents and specifications to understand critical requirements
