Job Summary :
this role is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and procuring materials, equipment, and services required for engineering and manufacturing projects. This role interfaces with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of necessary items to support production and project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze bills of materials, drawings, and engineering specifications to identify procurement requirements
Research and evaluate potential suppliers, vendors, and contractors to find the best fit in terms of cost, quality, delivery, and reliability
Negotiate contracts and purchasing agreements to obtain favorable pricing, lead times, and terms
Monitor and expedite procurement activities to ensure on-time delivery of materials and equipment
Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve any issues or discrepancies with procured items
Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation, and reporting
Identify opportunities to optimize the procurement process and implement process improvements
Stay up-to-date on market conditions, supply chain trends, and new technologies/products
Desired Candidate Profile
Profile:
Bachelor degree of Engineering or Supply Chain Management
Supply chain diploma is highly preferred.
Experience +4 years in Procurement preferred in Multinational corporations.
Excellent user of MS office and data analysis skills.
Minimum English level very good
