Procurement Excellence Manager

Position Title: Procurement Excellence Manager Department: Supply Chain Management

Reports to: Director of Supply Chain Management

Job Overview:

The Procurement Excellence Manager is responsible for driving excellence across all aspects of procurement, ensuring that policy, process, governance, systems, and reporting are effectively managed and continuously improved. This role will establish and maintain best-in-class procurement practices, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to achieve procurement excellence. Reporting directly to the Director of Supply Chain Management, the Procurement Excellence Manager will play a critical role in ensuring that procurement activities align with the strategic goals of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Policy and Process Development:

o Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of procurement policies and procedures.

o Ensure alignment of procurement practices with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational goals.

o Drive compliance with procurement policies and processes across all departments, ensuring accountability and adherence to best practices.

2. Governance and Compliance:

o Develop and oversee procurement governance frameworks to ensure transparency, ethical standards, and accountability in procurement activities.

o Monitor and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as internal governance policies.

o Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with procurement standards.

3. ProcurementSystemsManagement:

o Manage the administration and optimization of procurement systems (e.g., D365 ERP or other relevant platforms) to ensure efficient and effective procurement operations.

o Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to implement system enhancements, upgrades, and integration projects that drive procurement efficiency.

o Ensure data integrity within procurement systems, supporting accurate reporting and analytics.

4. Reporting and Analytics:

o Oversee the development of procurement reports, providing insights on

spend analysis, vendor performance, savings tracking, and compliance.

o Lead the creation of dashboards and reporting tools that provide real-time data and visibility into procurement performance.

o Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations to improve procurement performance and align with organizational goals.

5. Stakeholder Collaboration and External Relations:

o Work closely with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, and legal, to ensure procurement practices support business objectives and risk mitigation.

o Engage with external suppliers and partners to ensure procurement excellence, fostering strong relationships that deliver value and innovation.

o Act as the point of contact for procurement-related issues, facilitating communication between procurement and other business units.

6. LeadershipandTeamDevelopment:

o Manage, mentor, and develop the Procurement Analyst, fostering a culture of

continuous improvement and high performance.

o As the procurement team grows, play a key role in recruitment, training, and development to ensure the team is equipped to deliver procurement excellence.

7. Continuous Improvement and Best Practices:

o Lead initiatives to continuously improve procurement processes, focusing on efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.

o Stay informed of industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of procurement excellence.

o Drive change management initiatives that enhance procurement's contribution to the overall business strategy.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Professional procurement certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is highly desirable.

Experience:

o Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3-5 years

in a procurement leadership or management role.

o Strong experience in developing and implementing procurement policies, processes, and governance frameworks.

o Proficiency in procurement systems (e.g., D365 ERP, SAP, Oracle) and experience with data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau).

o Proven experience in leading procurement teams and driving procurement transformation initiatives.

o Experience in the hospitality, real estate, or property management sectors is preferred.
