Job Description
Negotiate all parts of tender prices and prepare any price breakdown if wanted.
Make procurement strategy and procurement schedule.
Choose best offers with highly recommended subcontractors and suppliers.
Prepare all contracts and P.O. documents.
Prepare weekly cash flow reports.
Weekly site visit to follow up and review execution progress and evaluate our subcontractors work.
Clarification of bid conditions and management of tender.
Study all of tender BOQs , species ,drawings and details .etc.
Divide tender packages and send each one to certain suppliers in our shotlist.
Prepare the comparison sheets between all of packages to evaluate dry values.
Study percentage value to indirect cost , direct cost & profit with cost control team depended on the ( project time frame ,site logistics, organization chat and etc).
Prepare financial & technical offer to tender and insert the project time schedule.
Present tender document to project owner or consultant and determine validity time of prices.
Desired Candidate Profile
Profile:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture/or Civil Engineering .
Experience: from 10 to 15 years.
Proven working experience as Purchasing Manager in construction industry.
Knowledge of the construction industry and materials.
Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management.
Interest in market dynamics along with business sense.
Strong negotiation skills.
Strong networking in construction field.
Ability to gather and analyze data and to work with figures.
Solid judgment along with decision-making skills.
Strong leadership capabilities.
