Job Description

PLANNING:

  1. Collaborates with the Procurement Manager in Creating, Refining and Implementing Procurement Strategy & Polices.
  2. Forecasting & Planning of Orders on Weekly/Monthly Basis.
  3. Create, report and Implement Innovative KPI's.
  4. Analysis and Evaluate the Cost and Suitability of Supplies against Specifications.
  5. Processing, Monitoring and Evaluating Supplier Contracts.

OPERATIONS/EXECUTION:

  1. Material requirement planning and procurement of raw materials as per the forecast.
  2. Overall planning for smooth functioning of operations by efficient management & coordination of procurement, demand forecasting & production planning functions and ensure adherence to key supply chain planning process.
  3. Negotiate with Suppliers, Shippers etc.
  4. Build and Develop Relationships with Key Suppliers.
  5. Co-ordinate with other Departments to Determine Purchase Requirements.
  6. Inform new Developments & Sources of Supply to Other Departments.
  7. Reviewing Potential Cost, Price, and Market Research. Evaluation of Quotes/Price Comparisons and Conducting Detailed Negotiation with Vendors.
  8. Supervising Bidding Procedures and Studying Offers for Local and International Purchases.
  9. Negotiating Trading Calls & Cost Comparison analysis

SUPERVISION:

  1. Supervise the Implementation of Purchase Procedures.
  2. Monitoring the Production Plan in WPP.
  3. In charge of procurement Planning Files for the team.
  4. Take Responsibilities and act as Manager in the absence of Purchase Manager.

REPORTS:

  1. Prepare Supplier Analysis Report.
  2. Prepare Monthly Reports (Purchase Ratio, # of Days Stock & Landed Cost Report, WAC report, Stock in Future) for Management Review.
  3. Provide Budgetary Information to Management

Qualifications, Experience, & Skills

Education: Bachelor's degree (Prefer in Supply Chain)

Language: English

Skills:

  1. Ms. Office, Dynamics 365Leaderships skills
  2. Good Communication
  3. Analytical Skills and attention to detail
  4. Ability to work under pressure.
  5. Market dynamics
  6. Decision Making Skills

Experience:

  1. 3- 5 Years of experience in Purchasing Spices, Nuts, pulses, dates, etc.
  2. Experience in forecasting & Planning of Orders on Weekly/Monthly Basis.
  3. Experience in Analyzing and Evaluating the Cost and Suitability of Supplies against Specifications.
  4. Experience in Processing, Monitoring and Evaluating Supplier Contracts.
