Responsibilities:
Identify and lead cost optimization initiatives, including supplier rationalization, contract renegotiation, and process improvements to drive savings and value creation.
Conduct market analysis to understand supply market dynamics, trends, and risks, and use this insight to inform category strategies.
Lead the strategic sourcing process, including RFx development, supplier selection, negotiation, and contract execution.
Undertake supplier negotiations, recommend supplier selections and implement contracts.
Manage key supplier relationships, driving performance through service level agreements (SLAs) and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement needs are met, including ensuring the right balance of cost, quality, and delivery.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards, while monitoring regulatory changes that may affect procurement activities.
Track and report on procurement performance metrics, including cost savings, supplier performance, and risk management.
Skills:
In-depth knowledge of category management, sourcing, and procurement strategies.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify cost optimization and value creation opportunities.
Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
Advanced data analysis and market research skills for informed decision-making.
Proficiency in procurement systems and ERP platforms for category management and reporting
