Job Description:
We are currently seeking a competent Procurement Officer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree or Diploma certification, along with substantial experience in procurement within the fabrication or oil and gas industry.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate procurement activities, including sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management, to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and equipment.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate favorable terms and secure competitive pricing.
- Review purchase requisitions and create purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and track deliveries to ensure timely receipt of materials and equipment.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers and engineers, to identify procurement needs and support project requirements.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate product offerings and pricing.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including vendor contracts, purchase orders, and supplier performance evaluations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma certification in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the oil, gas, or fabrication industry.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and procedures, including sourcing, negotiation, and vendor management.
- Familiarity with fabrication materials, equipment, and specifications.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and procurement software.
- Must be currently available in the UAE and willing to join immediately.
- Immediate joining candidates are preferred.
