Job Summary

Implementing and executing all procurement activities to obtain materials and equipment required by TAJ ALSAFA at the optimum quality, time and price to meet operational and agreed requirements in accordance with projects plans and delivery schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Identify Supplier Categorization and segmentation
  • Setting PO and procurement contracts templates and standards
  • Setting yearly/Projects Material Planning program YOY.

TECHNICAL DUTIES

  • Preparing procurement transactions as per procurement policies and procedures
  • Coordinate with Operations to ensure that all materials are provided in a timely manner to prevent any financial penalty/implications affecting Operations/Projects delivery plans and schedules.
  • Preparing RFI, RFPs and POs to suppliers.
  • Negotiating the purchase of materials and equipment required by TAJ ALSAFA, ensuring that these meet specifications and can be delivered at the correct time at the most favorable prices, requesting BAFO.
  • Liaising with the Chief Accountant to ensure timely AP invoices settlements.
  • Comparing materials (actual/ordered/on-stock) to identify materials requirements as per BOQs for projects and take corrective actions and report findings.
  • Negotiating and drafting contracts/POs as per Logistics Manager directions and in coordination with Legal Advisor.
  • Keeping Procurement contracts/POs, Supplier Evaluations, Profiles and files custodianship.
  • Responsible for sourcing activities and assessing information and proposals/offers received from potential suppliers.
  • Building and maintaining good relationships with existing and new suppliers.
  • Researching and identifying new items and suppliers.
  • Participating in evaluating & forecasting materials/equipment levels of demand and identifying lead time.
  • Maintaining up-to-date lists of contractors and pricing arrangements to ensure that the company achieves the most favorable terms.

GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES

  • Preparing periodic (weekly, monthly, quarterly) reports with respect to the activities and achievements to be submitted to the direct supervisor for review.
  • Performing other duties related to the job as assigned by the direct supervisor.
  • Professional Knowledge in SAP ERP
  • Professional Knowledge in Technical Writing.
  • Professional Knowledge in Procurement procedures and sourcing.
  • Knowledge in the Financial Authorities and Responsibilities related to Procurement activities.

Working Conditions

09:00 am till 05:00 pm from Saturday to Thursday.
