Job Description
Performing government procurement work and securing the Authority's various procurement needs through government contracting means (direct purchase/limited competition/general competition, etc.) and selecting the appropriate ones and coordinating with the beneficiary entities to set the terms and specifications and carry out other work related to this field.
Tasks:
- Applying the best practices and procedures that contribute to raising productivity and ensuring the quality of work within the department.
- Coordinating with the relevant committees (opening and examining bids and direct purchasing) to ensure their compliance with government regulations and instructions and the Authority's requirements and facilitating their work.
- Coordinating to complete the procedures for offering projects, purchases and contracting operations.
- Preparing periodic reports on purchases, competitions and contracts and updating them periodically.
- Preparing and reviewing contracts and planning expected payments in coordination with the relevant departments.
- Providing the relevant departments with copies of documents and papers related to contracting in accordance with internal policies and procedures.
- Saving and archiving all contracts and transactions related to contracting in accordance with the regulations, instructions, policies and procedures of the Authority.
- Follow up daily work to ensure compliance with approved policies and procedures
Skills
Basic experience and skills:
- experience in the field of government procurement

- Knowledge of instructions, circulars, decisions and procedures related to government procurement.
- Knowledge of the government procurement system, its executive regulations and related circulars.
- Ability to develop work methods and procedures in the field of government procurement.
