Description
We are looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist MRO to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing maintenance, repair, and operation (MRO) materials and equipment for our organization. The role requires a thorough understanding of procurement best practices, a strong knowledge of supply chain management, and excellent negotiation skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for MRO materials and equipment in line with organizational goals.
- Identify potential suppliers, conduct market research, and evaluate supplier performance to ensure high-quality products and services at competitive prices.
- Negotiate contracts and terms and conditions with suppliers, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine MRO requirements and ensure timely delivery of products and services.
- Manage supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance to ensure adherence to contract terms and conditions.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and supplier performance.
- Prepare reports and provide regular updates to management on procurement activities and supplier performance.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- 4-7 years of experience in procurement, specifically in MRO materials and equipment.
- Experience of KSA market is very important.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices and supply chain management.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience using procurement software and tools.
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
