WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Responsible for handling the internal staff requisitions.

In charge of issuing the related purchase orders in local and foreign markets
as per the company procurement cycle.

Analyze the offers of the suppliers in order to select the most suitable
supplier who is able to deliver high quality products at competitive pricing.

Follow the purchase orders until delivery and ensure payment is concluded
accordingly.

Review and verify commercial set of documents before the submission to the
finance department.

Update the purchasing follow-up reports on a periodic basis.

Follow the budget of purchasing for all departments and control the expenses.

Evaluate the internal suppliers list on semi- annual basis.

Follow the submission of the subcontractors prevention plan.

Coordinate and ensure that our suppliers are meeting our plan for quality
improvement.

Liaise with the suppliers on the delivery schedule to ensure on-time deliveries
of final product.

Ensure the company Health and Safety regulations will be implemented throughout
any activity conducted by the suppliers on site.

Report on any workplace hazards, unsafe acts or conditions to the subject
supervisor.

Report all incidents to the subject supervisor in a timely manner, no matter
how minor.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
BSc.
degree in commerce / Equivalent
3-5
years in the Procurement function
Ability
to manage multiple tasks, set priorities and adapt to changing conditions and
work assignments
Good
understanding of water and wastewater treatment industry is preferable.
Project
basis background
Good
background in mechanical/electrical maintenance.
Strong
and effective leadership and interpersonal skills
