Prodcution manager - Juice and Beverage

Purpose and Scope :

Oversee the day-to-day production operations in the juice manufacturing facility, ensuring that production goals are met efficiently, safely, and within quality standards, focussing on optimizing processes, managing resources, and maintaining compliance with industry and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities and Duties :

Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet customer demands. Ensure optimal utilization of resources, including labor, machinery, and materials.

Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines.

Enforce quality control procedures to ensure all products meet company and regulatory standards.

Work closely with the quality assurance team to identify and address any production defects or quality issues.

Supervise, train, and mentor production staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

Conduct regular performance reviews and address any employee concerns or disciplinary issues.

Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

Collaborate with the maintenance team to minimize equipment downtime and ensure proper maintenance.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the factory. Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for employees.

Maintain accurate production records and ensure adherence to food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO).

Manage raw material inventory to ensure sufficient stock for production without overstocking.

Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for timely delivery of raw materials and distribution of finished products.

Prepare and present production reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs) such as output, efficiency, and waste levels.

Analyze production data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions.

Qualifications and requirements :

Bachelor's degree in in Food Science, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field. A master's degree or additional certifications in production management is a plus.

Minimum 8 years of UAE experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food or beverage production.

Proven track record of managing production teams and meeting performance targets.

Strong understanding of production processes, machinery, and quality standards in the juice or beverage industry.

Proficiency in production management software and tools
