Role: Product Manager Back Office, Client Portal, and IB Rooms
Overview: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Product Manager to drive the strategic and operational success of our Back Office systems, Client Portal, and IB Rooms. This individual will play a critical role in managing the early stages of project development, creating well-defined business cases, and formulating comprehensive requirements that support efficient project execution. By aligning both internal and client-facing functionalities with the company's strategic goals, this role aims to streamline product development, improve user experiences, and alleviate resource bottlenecks.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Product Development and Pre-Project Planning
- Lead pre-project ideation by transforming initial ideas into actionable requirements for Back Office, Client Portal, and IB Rooms projects.
- Conduct thorough business case analyses for new initiatives, assessing benefits, costs, and alignment with broader business objectives.
- Develop clear, detailed documentation and requirement specifications to support project initiation, ensuring project clarity and readiness for development.
Roadmap Management and Prioritization
- Define and manage a strategic roadmap for Back Office, Client Portal, and IB Rooms features, prioritizing initiatives based on business goals, user needs, and technical feasibility.
- Balance feature development across these systems to prevent bottlenecks, ensuring efficient resource allocation and project flow across interdependent applications.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including development, support, and quality assurance, to ensure effective project execution, task allocation, and resolution of high-priority items.
- Facilitate interdepartmental communication to streamline the execution of ongoing projects and support tasks.
Client Portal, IB Rooms, and User Experience Oversight
- Manage the full lifecycle of the Client Portal and IB Rooms, with a strong focus on enhancing user experience, usability, and functionality.
- Leverage user feedback and analytics to guide feature development and improvements for both internal and client-facing components.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
- Serve as the main point of contact for Back Office, Client Portal, and IB Rooms projects, ensuring alignment between business requirements and project objectives.
- Proactively communicate project updates, scope changes, and progress to stakeholders, fostering transparency and maintaining clear expectations.
Support and Maintenance Management
- Oversee the ticketing process to ensure timely and effective resolution of support requests, bug fixes, and high-impact issues across the Client Portal, IB Rooms, and Back Office.
- Coordinate closely with QA and UAT teams to ensure rigorous testing and validation of all new features and updates, providing a seamless user experience.
Process Optimization and Performance Tracking
- Identify opportunities to streamline development cycles and optimize team performance within Back Office, Client Portal, and IB Rooms.
- Establish and monitor KPIs to assess the performance of all managed systems, continuously refining processes and implementing improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in product management, ideally within fintech or a similarly regulated industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in business case analysis, requirement documentation, and pre-project planning.
- Proven experience managing internal and client-facing products, with an emphasis on enhancing user experience, operational efficiency, and alignment with strategic goals.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration, prioritization, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Excellent communication and analytical abilities, with a strategic and organized approach to managing multiple priorities.
