Product Specialist Laboratory Diagnostics - Based in Cairo, Egypt.
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Product Specialist to join our Laboratories solutions team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving product knowledge, providing technical expertise, and supporting the sales process for our In-vitro diagnostics products. As a Product Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers are fully informed and confident in the use of our products. You will work closely with sales, marketing, business partners and healthcare professionals to optimize product performance and deliver exceptional customer support, furthermore, will has a significant role in the success of business growth & assess sales leads to explore real opportunities and support setting of the marketing strategy and initiatives across Egypt Subzone countries.
Your role:
- Responsible for Egypt subzone countries financial target & profitability of Lab Solutions in cooperation with country marketing manager, Sales team & BP managers
- Develop in-depth knowledge of In-vitro products for direct sales team & BPs staff.
- Provide expert product demonstrations, training, and technical support to customers.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Close follow up for the installed base to ensure optimum utilization & address customer issues and concerns in a timely fashion to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide sales channels with marketing collaterals, advertising materials, marketing campaigns, tradeshows, and other promotional activities & support customers events.
- Support new product launches and campaigns, by delivering product information and presentations in addition the required regulatory requirements & documentations.
- Support country forecasting for both of reagents & instruments via company platforms.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitors to provide insights and feedback to the company.
- Develop market intelligence & transparency by monitoring competition activities & market trends to support country marketing manager in country business planning.
- Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders.
- Assist in product troubleshooting and handle customer inquiries efficiently.
- Collect and analyze customer feedback to suggest product improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and company policies.
Your expertise and qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related healthcare field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Specialist or in a similar role within the healthcare or medical devices industry.
- Strong technical understanding of In-vitro diagnostic products or medical devices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Willingness to travel to meet with customers and attend conferences as needed.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the healthcare industry is a plus.
