Production Engineer
Responsibilities
- Key Responsibilities
- Executes production plans effectively and ensure ONIF (on time in full) implementation of both Making and Converting and ensure production machines, labor & material availability to serve the production plans for all shifts.
- Control materials movements between production and warehouse and ensure availability of required quantities in the production lines.
- Keeps updated Bill Of Material and Line Standards, and ensures production is running accordingly.
- Monitors processes efficiency & synchronization, efficient throughput and minimal waste.
- Evaluates and provide timely feedback on employee's performance and develop a cohesive production team.
- Additional Responsibilities
- Communicate and enforce company policies for safety, quality, and environment.
- Fill the production and attendance reports on excel and ensure production KPIs (OEE, productivity) are available on daily basis.
- Takes timely decisions to maintain production output and be able to quickly analyze situations and provide direction to production staff.
- Implements processes improvements to maximize productivity, reduce waste, improve quality, reduce costs and provide a safe work environment
- Organization
- Reports to: Production Manager
- Direct Reports: Production Senior Operator, Technical Operators, Production Operators, night shift leader.
- Interactions
- All local departments.
Qualifications
- Work Experience and Education
- Bachelor's Degree in an engineering (preferable Industrial or mechanical)
- 2-3 years of production experience.
- Specific knowledge
- Excellent communication skills with very strong interpersonal abilities.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Lean Manufacturing (or similar process) skills required with proven ability to lead and drive this type of program in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong ability to coach employee's and manage employee conflicts.
- Must be organized, have an eye for detail, and able to put ideas into tangible form

- Excellent presentation and written/verbal communication and report writing skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to prioritize & manage multiple responsibilities to critical project disciplined collaboration
