Production Engineer

Key Responsibilities :
- Monitors the attendance and departure of workers and assigns workers to their respective positions, and organizes the work within the production hall and distributes job responsibilities.
- Monitors the shift results every hour in terms of production and waste.
- Trains new employees on the different functions within the production management department.
Implement strict safety guidelines and institutional standards.
Follow occupational health and safety procedures .
- Reduces downtime to increase production rates.
- Executes any tasks assigned to them by their direct supervisor.
- Implements all production plans and operations with the specified quantity and assortment within the set time, as well as the planned quality level in the production plan (during their shift) received from their direct supervisor.
- Manages production operations effectively and economically in terms of the rates set by the production management, which include (quantity of waste / raw materials used according to the specified ratios for each mixture / proper handling of products / return rates).
- Ensures the availability of raw materials for production before and during the production stages.
- Ensures the smooth running of the work and that the production shift workers follow the health requirements and work instructions (cleanliness, uniform, etc.).
- Guides, motivates, and develops the workers in the production department, trains them, and evaluates their performance during the shift and reports it to their direct supervisor.
- Follows up on the placement of labor, each in their place and according to the placement of each line and machine.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in production engineering or agriculture.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in food factories, mills, or feed mills
- Excellent time management skills.
- Strong managerial and leadership skills
- Good IT literacy (MS office, Erp & Business emails)
- Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken.
- Shift work system, with shift changes every week
