Job Description
Assist in analyzing and improving production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Support the implementation of Lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
Monitor production processes and assist in adjustments to meet quality and performance standards.
Assist in conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions for quality issues.
Assist in the development of production schedules to meet customer demands.
Help adjust schedules and processes to accommodate changes in demand or unforeseen production issues.
Help troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime.
Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Prepare and present reports on production performance and improvement initiatives.
Use data-driven insights to support continuous improvement efforts.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Promote a culture of safety within the production team.
Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
Desired Candidate Profile
Profile:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing engineering role. Internships or co-op experience in a similar environment is a plus.
Basic understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and methodologies is preferred.
Basic proficiency in AutoCAD for production layout and design.
Familiarity with production planning software and ERP systems is a plus.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
