Job Summary
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure that production schedules are met, with a strong emphasis on maintaining quality and safety standards. This role requires in-depth knowledge of production processes and maintenance practices to optimize equipment performance and enhance productivity.
Responsibilites:
- Schedule and complete the production plan in line with standards to ensure high-quality products.
- Monitor daily production processes to ensure adherence to schedules and quality standards.
- Coordinate with team members to address production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure equipment functions optimally.
- Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with quality control standards and regulatory requirements.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct safety training sessions and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate to ensure correct and sufficient raw materials for production are available in a timely, cost-efficient manner.
- Provide guidance and support to production staff during operations.
- Organize efficient start-up and shutdown procedures with effective time management.
- Coordinate with supporting departments during line changeovers, breakdowns, and non-conformances.
- Responsible for maintaining the Production Reporting System (PRS).
- Assist management in implementing continuous improvement programs and audits.
- Ensure GMP and safety standards are upheld in the production area during shifts.
- Maintain production manuals, documentation, and records accurately.
Qulifcations & Experiance:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related feiled.
- Minimum 5 years experience in soft drink and beverage industries
- 3 years in a supervisory position.
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong knowledge of production processes in the beverage or FMCG industry.
- Proficiency in production planning and scheduling.
- Knowledge of maintenance best practices for production machinery.
- Familiarity with quality control standards and regulatory requirements.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting systems, including production reporting tools.
