Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented
Program Director to join our team!
In this role you will get to provides direction and management for every phase of large projects and programs to assure on-schedule completion within or below budget and in accordance with contractual obligations.
The Program Director must be capable of managing a program valued up to $10 Billion in total installed cost. Prior experience must include significant program management office experience as the Program Director on major roads and infrastructure programs. Experience should also include operations management of personnel and facilities. Relocation to the job site may be required.
What You'll Be Doing
- Program Director has the overall responsibility and accountability for managing any combination of phases, including tender support, initial assessment tasks, design and engineering and construction management.
- The Program Director is responsible for technical program and individual project management, quality and execution for delivery of the overall program requirements during any and all phases of services.
- Responsible for co-coordinating program related matters and their solutions between the various program stakeholders. Ensures all changes and solutions are implemented and coordinated within the scope and schedule for program services.
- Responsible for providing leadership and direction to the program team to provide quality and timely technical resolutions and management of services that enable achievement of program goals and objectives.
- The scope and scale of the program demands a team of committed and dedicated professionals who share the objectives and vision of the client. The Program Director will provide senior management direction for execution of all agreed program services supporting client objectives and vision to an appropriate and consistent level of quality, ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) are achieved, understood and managed at all levels of the broader program.
- Responsible for preparing, implementing and maintaining the Program Execution Plan/Program Management Plan and contributing to the preparation of supporting management plans, including Risk Management, Quality Management, Change Management, Commissioning Management, Stakeholder Management, etc.
- Responsible for establishing basic program parameters fulfilling requirements of the client.
- Responsible Reviewing technical deliverables of PMCMs, design consultants, and/or contractors with the objective of recommending no-objection/approval or identifying non-compliance.
- Developing resolution for technical program issues and formally recommending to the client for instruction and implementation, including assessment of advantages and disadvantaged with potential liability issues.
- Managing resources of program management team to ensure maximum engagement and efficiency.
- Manage all program matters between key program stakeholders client, other consultants, contractors, and external parties.
- Exhibit the highest leadership, communication and negotiation skills to manage the program personnel and delivery.
- Work closely with the client and program management team, and other consultants, to maintain high standards, quality, consistency and coordination.
- Drives the safety culture developing a strong safety ethic within the program management team and incorporated into program services.
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical/business field and typically 25+ years of related work experience is required.
- Incumbent should have a broad general technical and business background, as well as previous program management experience on similar or related large-scope programs
- Professional registration may also be required.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring
- Incumbent must meet Parsons project management certification requirements.
- Proven ability to perform in a management capacity, excellent written and oral communications skills, and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations are also required.
- In addition, must be knowledgeable of current technology and how it can be effectively utilized on the project.
