We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to manage high-profile strategic initiatives and drive transformational change within our organisation. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in leading business change programs/initiatives related to people, process (re)engineering, new systems and technology. Strong expertise in Programme Management & Governance, Business Change Management, Stakeholder Management, Reporting and Agile ways of working are essential for success in this role, with prior experience in the Health Insurance industry an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage strategic initiative(s), contributing to corporate objectives and targets.
Ensure a fit-for-purpose governance structure and approach is applied to drive integration and collaboration across all aspects of change, bringing together Business and Technology. In parallel, adequately apply proven techniques, processes, and standards (aligned with SPMO) to oversee program change delivery and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Develop and implement Change Management strategies, embedding them within the required ways of working, to ensure successful adoption of new systems, technology and (re)engineered processes across the organization.
Effectively engage and manage stakeholders at all levels, including executives, project teams, business units and end-users, to ensure alignment and support for required change.
In collaboration with program leadership, provide regular and transparent reporting on program progress, risks, and issues to executive leadership, governance boards and key stakeholders.
Support VP, Project Portfolio Management in maturing Project/Program management capabilities for the organization, whilst driving continuous improvement within the PMO function, leveraging best practices, lessons learned, and feedback to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
Mentor and coach project teams on Program & Change Management principles and practices as support in building organizational capability and resilience.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in Program Management & Governance, Change Management, PMO leadership, or related roles, with a focus on leading people change initiatives.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven expertise in Change Management methodologies and tools, with a track record of successfully driving adoption and minimizing resistance to change.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
Experience in the Health Insurance industry is advantageous.
Understanding or workings with agile methodologies / frameworks (e.g. Scrum, SAFe etc).
PMP, PgMP, MSP, PROSCI, OCM, or other relevant certifications are preferred.
Background in Technology/Information Systems/Computing is an advantage.
