Job Overview:
The Program Officer will report directly to the Programs Director and play a key role in the implementation and delivery of various thematic and capacity building entrepreneurship programs within the organization. This position involves coordinating program activities, ensuring efficient execution, and supporting the achievement of program objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of entrepreneurship programs under the guidance of the Programs Director.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless program implementation.
Interact with program participants, addressing inquiries, providing support, and ensuring a positive participant experience.
Facilitate communication channels between participants, mentors, and other stakeholders.
Provide logistical support for program events, workshops, and activities.
Collect, organize, and maintain data related to program activities, participants, and outcomes.
Assist in analyzing program data to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
Contribute to the preparation of regular reports on program progress and outcomes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of program documentation, including participant profiles, evaluations, and feedback.
Ensure compliance with record-keeping standards and organizational policies.
Facilitate communication between internal teams and external stakeholders involved in the programs.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of relevant experience.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as Business, Social Sciences, Engineering or Program Management).
Previous experience in entrepreneurship program coordination or related roles is advantageous.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Proficiency in using standard office software and data management tools.
