Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Control Manager to oversee and manage project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk control across our diverse portfolio, including residential, commercial, hospitality, logistics, and mixed-use developments. This role is pivotal in ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality projects that align with Rowaby's vision of creating modern, integrated communities.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive project schedules using industry-standard tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to align schedules with project milestones, especially for large-scale hospitality and logistics developments.
- Continuously monitor and update project timelines to address scope changes or delays.
Cost Management and Budget Control:
- Establish and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with Rowaby's financial goals across diverse sectors, including hospitality and logistics.
- Track expenditures, identify variances, and recommend corrective measures to maintain budget integrity.
- Prepare detailed cost control reports and forecasts for leadership and stakeholders.
Risk Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks affecting project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, particularly for hospitality and logistics projects with unique operational challenges.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and propose actionable mitigation strategies.
- Keep stakeholders informed of risks and provide timely updates on mitigation efforts.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success across all projects.
- Generate and present detailed reports covering schedule performance, budget health, and risk assessments for hospitality, logistics, and other projects.
- Offer data-driven insights to support executive decision-making.
Team Collaboration and Stakeholder Coordination:
- Collaborate with internal departments (design, procurement, finance) and external partners (consultants, contractors) to ensure smooth project execution.
- Engage stakeholders in hospitality and logistics projects to align deliverables with operational goals and timelines.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability to drive project success.
Process Improvement:
Optimize project control processes to enhance efficiency and adaptability for hospitality and logistics projects.
Implement industry best practices and leverage advanced tools for real estate development.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to maintain Rowaby's reputation for quality and innovation.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification preferred.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in project controls within real estate development, with exposure to hospitality and logistics projects.
- Proven success managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
Skills:
- Proficiency in project management tools like Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Advanced knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis in real estate, hospitality, and logistics sectors.
- Strong understanding of construction schedules, processes, and contracts.
- Exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Clear and professional communication abilities.
- Other Requirements:
- Familiarity with local regulations, permitting processes, and industry standards for hospitality and logistics developments.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage cross-functional teams effectively.
