The project:

This opportunity is to be involved in a major mixed-use development, in Riyadh. The programme consists of over 200 projects including cultural and heritage assets, F&B, retail and hotels, commercial buildings, and educational facilities.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Performance tracking: monitor project progress against established metrics and KPIs.
  • Identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement, and provide actionable recommendations to project teams and management.
  • Compliance and standards: reviewing and editing reports for quality to ensure that all reporting activities comply with organizational standards, methodologies, and relevant processes.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of PMO documentation and processes.
  • Reporting and visualization: design and develop comprehensive reports and dashboards that provide insights into project performance, financial forecasts, and resource allocation.
  • Utilize tools like Microsoft Power BI, Excel, or other data visualization software to present data in a user-friendly format.
  • Data management and analysis: gather, analyze, and interpret project-related data from various sources, including project portfolio management (PPM) tools to extract meaningful insights and trends.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity for reporting purposes.
  • Interpret data using statistical techniques and identify patterns, trends within complex data sets.
  • Continuous improvement: participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing data collection, reporting processes, and tools.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to data analysis and reporting.
  • Supports PMO director and/or team members to address actions, recognise opportunities and mitigate risks and issues.

You'll need to have:

  • Educational background: bachelor's degree in data science, business analytics, project management, or a related field is typically required.
  • Technical proficiency: strong knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Tableau), advanced excel skills, knowledge of SharePoint.
  • Analytical skills: ability to analyze complex data sets, identify patterns, and derive meaningful insights.
  • Experience with statistical analysis and forecasting techniques is advantageous.
  • Communication skills: excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to stakeholders.

You'll also have:

  • Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
  • Extensive years of relevant experience working for construction consultancy industry top-tier companies.
