Established in 2010, our client is a prominent real estate consultant, offering a wide range of services including project management, cost management, quantity surveying, and design management. The company delivers award winning projects for their clients, including Best Interior Design (Residential) and Best high-end Restaurant Fitout at the recent CID Awards. Position Summary

Our client is seeking a Project Coordinator to join their existing team of talented Project Managers who oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be highly organised with an eagerness to be trained to eventually become a Project Manager. The candidate should be a fresh graduate or with maximum 1 year experience (UAE National).

Key Responsibilities

Assist Project Managers in:

  1. Preparing a detailed project plan for each project, including scope, schedule, and budget.
  2. Managing all phases of construction projects, including execution, monitoring, closing, and post completion reviews.
  3. Coordinating the work of project teams, including contractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  4. Monitoring project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks and issues as they arise.
  5. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, the company's quality standards, and contractual requirements.
  6. Preparing project update reports and communicating effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members, providing regular updates and reports.
  7. Managing project documentation, including contracts, permits, and other regulatory documents.
  8. Assisting the project team in arranging workshops and meetings and preparing minutes from such meetings as a record of the discussions.
  9. Assisting with project tracking schedules to ensure key decisions, requests for information, risks, delays and mitigation measures are recorded and managed.
  10. Attend site visits during the construction of fitout projects to assess the quality and quantity of work against the agreed design and programme.
  11. Supporting tendering and general procurement processes including communication with service providers, evaluation of proposals and general procurement administration
  12. Fostering strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  2. Young graduate and up to 1 year of experience in project management or related field.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint).
  4. Knowledge in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project) is a plus.
  5. Strong attention to detail.
  6. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
