Your Role
As a Project Engineer, you will be at the heart of projects, ensuring that fitout and interior contracting endeavors are executed flawlessly. You will coordinate with various stakeholders, manage technical aspects, and drive the project from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Coordination: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocations. Collaborate with architects, designers, and contractors to ensure all project requirements are met.
- Technical Oversight: Oversee the technical aspects of interior contracting projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure quality control, and resolve any issues that arise during the construction phase.
- Client Interaction: Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and ensuring their requirements and expectations are consistently met.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years in project management within the interior contracting or fitout industry.
- Skills: Strong project management skills, with proficiency in project management software and tools. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure high standards of quality and compliance with all technical specifications.
