Project Engineer with expertise in civil marine projects to manage and oversee project execution in areas including quay wall construction, concrete and breakwater works, combi-wall and sheet pile installations, dredging, and beach profiling. This role requires an individual experienced in safety management, equipment coordination, manpower forecasting, and preparation of lifting plans and method statements
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
- Coordinate closely with clients, contractors, and suppliers to align project goals and schedules.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure design and regulatory compliance.
- Lead safety planning and implement procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and hazard identification to minimize workplace accidents.
- Plan and manage the mobilization and demobilization of equipment, ensuring all machinery is maintained and used safely.
- Forecast and schedule manpower requirements, ensuring that all necessary personnel are on-site as needed.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field
- 5-8 years of experience in civil marine construction, especially in quay wall, breakwater, and combi-wall construction, sheet pile, dredging, and beach profiling.
- Strong knowledge of safety standards, lifting operations, and method statement preparation.
- Proficiency in project management software and engineering tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive approach to safety and project challenges.
- Strong communication and organizational skills for effective team collaboration and stakeholder communication.
- Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
- Previous experience with large-scale international marine projects
