Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, plan, and direct multidisciplinary teams in the successful delivery of rail projects.
Manage all aspects of project execution, including safety, quality, schedule, and cost control, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders and clients, enhancing company reputation and identifying new business opportunities.
Monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Oversee the coordination and management of large-scale infrastructure projects, focusing on public realm, enabling works, and building assets.
Ensure resource allocation meets current and future project demands, maximizing operational efficiency.
Ensure the highest standards of Health & Safety on all construction activities.

Requirements:

Degree-qualified in engineering or a related field (BSc, BEng, BA or equivalent); Chartered status preferred.
20+ years of experience in construction, with at least 7 years in roles similar to this, focused on large rail infrastructure projects.
Expertise in managing large-scale, complex construction operations, particularly within the rail sector.
Strong communication and reporting skills, capable of engaging with senior executives and managing client expectations.
Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and complex stakeholder relationships.
A deep understanding of construction techniques, project controls, and safety management.
