We are seeking an experienced Project Head to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of a high-rise building project. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the construction industry.
Basic Job Responsibilities
- Conducting project feasibility analysis, reviewing plans and submitting report to GM -Projects.
- Active participation in the design and approval phase along with the Consultant, Project Engineer and GM -Projects.
- Reviewing and updating project cost analysis through the design phase and reporting to GM -Projects.
- Recommending new and cost effective methods of construction for the Project during the design and construction phases.
- Reviewing Bills of Quantities and submitting report to GM -Projects highlighting areas of opportunities & correction.
- Participating in the tendering process and reviewing bids from contractors/Sub-Contractors along with the GM -Projects.
- Recommending best value management techniques and upon approval ensuring they are incorporated with in the construction contracts.
- Maintaining project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems/disputes in consultation with GM -Projects.
- Ensuring project delivery as per the agreed baseline program.
- Submitting daily report to GM -Projects for site work progress.
- Monitoring, evaluating and managing the contractors, sub-contractors, consultants and other vendors at the site and ensuring implementation of best practices.
- Promptly reporting any default, accident and failure to the GM -Projects and immediately implementing corrective measure in consultation with him.
- Ensuring all site works happens as per the guidelines provided by the respective Master Developer and their respective approving authorities.
- Ensuring the construction works are carried out as per the construction contract awarded by the company.
- Evaluating all variation requests and submitting the review report to GM -Projects.
- Negotiating variation cost in consultation with GM -Projects.
- Ensuring all project related approvals are in timely in place, updating records and reporting to GM -Projects regarding the same.
- Attending all Site Review Meetings with GM -Projects; documenting all review meetings; following up on matters discussed and ensuring timely delivery.
- Ensuring all site office expenses are recorded properly, maintained and furnished as per the company policy.
- Reviewing all site payment request in consultation with Project Engineer and submitting it to GM -Projects for final approval.
- Responsible for monitoring all contractors, sub-contractor and consultant performance at the site.
- Reviewing the construction with Project Engineer and ensuring the construction is achieved as per the client approved design, drawings and specification.
- Ensuring all shop drawings are prepared, approved and filed as per the company guidelines.
- Any other assignment in line with your Portfolio.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on high-rise buildings.
- Proven track record of successfully completing high-rise construction projects on time and within budget.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
