Job Description Summary
The Project Management Leadership Program (PMLP) accelerates the development of early career EPC and project management personnel through intensive training in the areas of technical and leadership skills. This PMLP role is intended for off program on the Project Management team in the Grid Solutions business.
Graduates leave the program with leadership skills necessary to fulfill both customer and business objectives. The program, which commences in April, is a two-year program spanning three eight-month rotational assignments. Mandatory rotations will include field / construction and scheduling with a third in another discipline (commercial operations, quality, sourcing, contract management, finance, project controls, logistics, project management, lean, and technical). Participants are expected to demonstrate a field desire. This PMLP role is intended for off program on the Project Management team in the Grid Solutions business.
In line with Emiratization requirements preference will be given to qualified Emirati nationals.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- As part of the PMLP program, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to join GE Vernova as a graduate engineer.
- Preparing and maintaining technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and project logs.
- Working closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to support project objectives.
- Attending team meetings and contributing to discussions on project progress and issues.
- Assisting in managing inventory and tracking project resources.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree preferably in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field with experience up to maximum 1 to 3 year working experience.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic recommended (oral and written).
- Excellent Microsoft Office program skills (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliability, teamwork, and professionalism towards co-workers.
- Analytical thinking to develop effective solutions for engineering challenges.
- Any internships, co-op programs, or hands-on project experience
