WSP are currently seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team and lead the successful execution of this prestigious infrastructure project. You will work closely with our client, stakeholders, and project team to ensure that the project is delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

Your new role, what's involved

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives and success criteria.
  • Oversee all civil engineering aspects of the project, including infrastructure development, roads, utilities, and other civil works.
  • Ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage landscape elements of the project, including green spaces, hardscapes, and environmental considerations.
  • Collaborate with landscape architects and environmental specialists to enhance project sustainability.
  • Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary project team, including civil engineers, landscape architects, and other professionals.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring effective cost control and resource optimization.
  • Monitor expenditures, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions.
  • Identify potential risks associated with civil and landscape aspects of the project.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with the risk management team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Ensure effective communication to address concerns and maintain alignment with project goals.
  • Implement and oversee quality control processes for civil and landscape works.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating activities to ensure timely completion of milestones.
  • Identify critical path items and implement strategies to avoid delays
  • Work closely with the Contracts Engineer to administer contracts, review contractor performance, and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Manage the issuance of change orders and ensure proper documentation.
  • Integrate environmentally sustainable practices into the project, promoting green construction methods and minimizing environmental impact.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and upcoming milestone

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Membership of Chartered Institution
  • Must have 15+ years experience
  • Extensive experience in managing civil engineering and landscape projects.
  • Proven project management experience, preferably in large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Saudi Arabian construction regulations.
  • Certification in Project Management is advantageous.
