Responsibilities
The Project Manager shall be fully conversant with all aspects of project controls including design works, site supervision, testing and commissioning and trial run passengers.
He will oversee issuance of reports and attendance of meetings with the project stakeholders as well as the risk management, health, safety and Environmental issues and procedures, scheduling and progress monitoring, cost estimating and control, configuration and document control, supervision and monitoring trail run activities as well as monitoring and reporting the activities of the defects notification period.
The individual shall be capable of managing a team that will provide oversight of design, construction and supply contracts, develop and implement systems and procedures, and ensure an effective monitoring and reporting regime is implemented that will allow effective and timely decision making. He is required to demonstrate extensive experience in a similar role on comparable international transit systems with preferable previous experience of Monorail.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering or relevant related subjects.
- 20 years demonstrable experience in the Railway, Construction or Engineering industry concerning both Civils and Railway systems.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
