We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee the design, construction, and fit-out of a new longevity medical clinic in the UAE. This role is ideal for a project management professional with experience in healthcare facility construction, ensuring the project meets design, budget, timeline, and regulatory requirements. The Project Manager will be responsible for leading the entire construction process, from the conceptual design phase to the completion of the clinic's fit-out, ensuring a seamless and efficient build that adheres to medical industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Coordination: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for the design, construction, and fit-out of the medical clinic. Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, architects, and vendors to ensure the project progresses according to plan.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the main point of contact for all stakeholders involved in the project, including architects, contractors, regulatory authorities, and internal teams. Ensure effective communication and manage expectations throughout the project's lifecycle.
- Design and Construction Oversight: Oversee the design phase, working closely with architects and designers to ensure the medical facility's layout aligns with clinical requirements. Ensure construction is completed according to specifications, quality standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all construction and fit-out activities comply with UAE healthcare regulations, building codes, and industry standards, including medical facility safety standards.
- Budget and Cost Management: Monitor project expenses, manage costs, and ensure the project remains within budget. Identify potential cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project, including design changes, delays, and regulatory hurdles. Implement contingency plans to address unforeseen issues.
- Quality Control: Oversee quality assurance throughout the design and construction phases to ensure that the facility meets all operational and functional requirements. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
- Timeline Management: Ensure the project is completed on time by closely monitoring the progress of each stage, addressing delays, and adjusting timelines as necessary.
- Fit-Out and Commissioning: Manage the final fit-out phase, ensuring that all medical equipment, furniture, and systems are installed and operational before the facility opens. Oversee the commissioning of the clinic to ensure it is ready for patient care.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (PMP or equivalent certification preferred).
- 8+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in healthcare facility design and construction, preferably in the UAE.
- Proven experience managing complex medical facility construction projects, including design, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and fit-out.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE building codes, healthcare facility requirements, and regulatory guidelines for medical environments.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and teams.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address challenges quickly and effectively.
- Knowledge of sustainability and energy efficiency best practices in construction is a plus.
