Job Role:
To plan and manage the POS rollout that also has ERP integrations. This position will partner with teams from the business, finance and information technology. This position will involve managing a project plan, a budget, project risks and also a project team.
A programme manager will oversee the project management lifecycle process. The POS Project Manager must develop a plan of action to get the project delivered working closely with the POS Partner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide project management for POS rollout ready to deliver the new ERP solution.
- Provide weekly status reporting.
- Manage the performance of Field Engineers focusing on retail on ground roll out.
- Develop project plans that identify resource and budgetary needs
- Host project meetings at least once a week with team and managers
- Manage project risks and issues and maintain project documentation
- Provide feedback, advice, project updates and encouragement to team members
- Manage deadlines and push the team to ensure timeliness
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed
- Manage the performance and delivery of the multiple field engineers that will be involved in the delivery of the project.
- Monitor the financial performance of a given area of activity versus budgets so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and rectified promptly.
- Engage and manage stakeholders, particularly focusing on impacted stakeholders and contributing vendors, maintaining effective relationships and maintain alignment with project objectives.
Key Qualifications:
- 7+ years of project/program management, with at least 4 years of experience in complex SAP ERP transformations, cloud SaaS implementations with integrations to multiple in-house and external systems.
- Previous experience in a project management role / implemented ERP SaaS solution across a multi-industry organization, across POS
- Proven experience as a Program Manager PgMP and PMP (or similar) certifications would be an added advantage
- Knowledge in Oracle xStore POS implementation
- Knowledge of Oracle (RMSv14) desirable
