Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manages project cost, time, methods and performance.
  • Handles project planning, contract administration, execution, job cost tracking, billing, change order control system, claims, and job closeout.
  • Implements best business practices for project management procedures and documentation. Establishes detail job cost system and procedures to collect required data from the field. (Time sheets, daily reports, change orders, etc.)
  • Coordinates with Construction Managers, a status review of submittals.
  • Manages the subcontract payment applications reviews and approvals.
  • Supports an injury free work environment and safety culture and ensures compliance with codes, guidelines, best practices, and policies. Complies with the highest level of health, safety and zero accident during all stages of project.
  • Delivers the project as per the contract requirements.
  • Oversights (job selection, schedule, and review) of the estimating function.
  • Ensures that all activities within the designated areas are well planned, coordinates and utilizes all available resources.
  • Liaises with the Construction Manager's for resolving any project related issue at site.
  • Performs department onboarding and induction relevant to procedures, guidelines, policies, etc.
  • Liaises closely with subcontractors. Manages the deliverables of the Subcontractors and ensure they are following the work program, quality and safety.
  • Supports and assists staff to the job with skills training programs (if requires), with the aim of increasing worker skills and personnel development.
  • Provides project status monthly detail and cost to complete figures.
  • Manages the pipeline project from inception to completion as the project leader.
  • Ensures technical excellence at the operations to prevent harm to persons, damage to machinery and equipment.
  • Supervises progress of development project.
  • Analyzes equipment, processes, and systems to identify modifications to improve efficiency, increase quality, and reduce costs.

Qualifications

  • 15 years total experience in turnkey Roads and Infrastructure Projects
  • 5 years in similar position in UAE
  • BSc. in Civil Engineering
