Position Objective:
The Project Manager is responsible for supporting Senior Project Managers in the end-to-end implementation of a specific number of cell sites, which may include new builds, co-locations, or modernizations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support the end-to-end deployment of both new build and co-location cell sites. Track and report on all functions within the process, including network design, site acquisition, construction, and integration.
- Ensure delivery aligns with the project plan while implementing necessary procedures to maintain the quality of work.
- Meet objectives and priorities for the execution of work in line with the project scope and client's requirements.
- Monitor project progress, and proactively track bottlenecks and related issues to ensure that project schedules and key milestones are satisfactorily met.
- Supervise work results, comparing them with guidelines and project plans.
- Ensure results are compiled, documented, and forwarded to the client in the required format, quantity, and quality. Ensure timely and correct presentation and explanation of results.
- Monitor and report on the financial performance of the project, highlighting any discrepancies against the overall as built plan.
- Attend regular project progress review and coordination meetings with key project team members, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to regular reviews of changing project requirements, organization, and resource needs. Provide recommendations for changes accordingly.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in telecommunications, with at least 2 years in the delivery of cell sites.
- Extensive knowledge and professional experience in managing projects, project control, and coordination with clients and contractors.
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and Arabic.
- Advanced skills in Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
- Advanced computer skills in Excel, including data manipulation, analysis, and reporting.
- Proficient in preparing PowerPoint presentations.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a must.
